This tour takes us to the less crowded tourist circuit. Our journey begins with a visit to the lake nakuru national park. The drive to Nakuru offers the beautiful sceneries of the great rift valley. Lake Nakuru national park which home to hundreds of thousands of Flamingos that color the lake pink and also providing sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, White Rhino, Lion, Leopard among other wildlife as well as a wide range of bird species.

We shall then move on to lake Bogoria. Lake Bogoria is famous for the hot springs and gysers. Here we shall enjoy bird viewing.

We then proceed to The Kakamega Forest National Reserve. Situated in the Lake Victoria basin, about 50km north of Kisumu city, Kakamega Forest is the only remnant in Kenya of the unique Guineo-Congolian forest ecosystem. The park offers unique wildlife and scenic beauty. It is ideal for bird and butterfly watchers. The park also supports more than 350 species of trees and 7 primate species including the endangered DeBrazza monkey, black and white colobus monkey and vervet monkey. The Potto (the world’s slowest mammal on earth), duikers and Dik diks are also found in here.

Day 1

You arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport from where our guide will  pick you up and transfer to  your hotel.

Day 2

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. We depart for Nakuru via the scenic views of the great rift valley. We arrive for lunch at our hotel. The afternoon will be spent at the Lake Nakuru Park viewing wild game.

Day 3
Kakamega Forest

We have our breakfast and then drive to Kakamega Forest. We shall arrive for lunch.  The entire afternoon we spend in the park. There are 7kms of trails with a team of ranger guides to escort visitors through the forest. We shall walk to Buyango Hill, the highest point in the forest.

Day 4
Lake Victoria

After breakfast we head on to Lake Victoria. We take a tour of the Kisumu City that will take us to the Kisumu City Council hall, Kenyatta sports ground, the Walter Edwin Owen park, the Kisumu Municipal Market, the Kisumu City Center, the pier (the ship docking bay), the Kisumu railway station,  and possibly the the Kisumu Museum.

Day 5
Lake Victoria

After breakfast we drive to the yacht club, then take a boat to Ndere Island National park. The day is spent in search of the lake’s largest crocodiles, Hippos, monitor lizards, birds, water antelopes etc. Enjoy fishing and taste your catch for dinner. Lunch in the lake on the boat.

Day 6
Masai Mara

After your breakfast we set off for  the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for Lunch. After lunch take a game-drive in this world-famous reserve.

Day 7
Masai Mara

Today we depart the camp after breakfast with picnic lunch as we enjoy a full day of game viewing. We shall have lunch by the Mara River as we marvel at the crocodiles and the hippos in the mara river.

Day 8
Nairobi /Departure

We depart after breakfast with game viewing enroute. Drop off at the airport  for your departure flight.

Our next destination will be lake Victoria. The lake is the heart of the African continent, the source of its mightiest river, the Nile. This mighty body of water is rich in fish life, with shimmering shoals of colourful cichlids and large Nile Perch. Fishing brings many visitors to this lake, mainly in search of the Nile Perch, considered a world class game fish.
We crown our tour with a visit to one of the new wonders of the world, The Masai Mara national reserve. This is home to the wildebeest migration and the big five.
